Who We Are
Sanctuary of HIS Presence is a parish of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim (RC 316), a Christian body founded in Lagos, Nigeria in 1925. We are a community of worship, fellowship, and service based in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, welcoming everyone who seeks to grow in faith and in relationship with God.

How Members & Visitors Check In
Sanctuary of HIS Presence uses a simple QR-code check-in system so members and visitors can confirm their attendance at each service in seconds, and so pastoral staff can follow up with anyone who's been away for a while.
Step 1
Scan the QR code at the entrance
A single QR code, printed at the entrance, works for both members and visitors — everyone starts the same way, no separate sign-in required beforehand.
Step 2
Verify your phone number by SMS
The first time you check in, we send a 4-digit one-time verification code (OTP) by SMS to confirm your phone number. The code is single-use and expires after a few minutes. Returning members and visitors skip this step on their next visit — their device stays remembered.
Step 3
We confirm you're actually on-site
Before marking attendance, our system checks that your device's location falls within the church premises and that check-in is happening during the active service window — attendance can't be confirmed from off-site.
Step 4
Attendance confirmed, instantly
Once verified, your attendance is recorded for that service and pastoral staff can see who attended. No app download or account password is required at any point.
About the SMS verification code: when a member or visitor checks in for the first time (or on a new device), we send one SMS containing a 4-digit one-time code from Sanctuary of HIS Presence. The code is used only to confirm the phone number belongs to the person checking in — it expires after a few minutes and cannot be reused. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS through this flow.
